Air Force Central Funding for Travel and Per Diem:
The AFIT Team has established a link for attendees to register for centralized funding for travel and per diem to attend the PHMA PDS XXII. It can be reached at www.afit.edu/cess/Course_Desc.cfm?p=WESS%20311. Individuals can also access via the AFIT Course Schedule at www.afit.edu/cess/Course_List.cfm. (From first screen, scroll down to the Seminars section and click on "WESS311" which will open the link for the USAF Professional Housing Management Association Seminar. Individuals should complete the online application which will be automatically forwarded to the registrar. Once your information is reviewed, and supervisor approval completed, a fund cite authorization letter, along with any other pertinent information, will then be forwarded directly to you. Registration for central funding will close on 17 January 2010. Individuals should contact Felicia Davis at DSN 785-5654 (Ext 3522) or Jeff Kallas (jeffrey.kallas.ctr@afit.edu) at DSN 785-5654 (Ext 3584), if they have any questions.
Air Force Central Funding for Pre-week Courses:
AF personnel that wish to take a pre-week education course prior to PDS should register for the course at the PDS Web site then contact Kathy Cooper at PHMA to provide their government travel card information to pay for the course. Those AF personnel who register for a PHMA-PDS pre-week course will also need to complete the information at the AFIT Web site. They will then be reimbursed for the cost of the course by claiming it on their travel voucher. The registrar has loaded the CDPM Level 1 class on the AFIT Web site at: www.afit.edu/cess/Course_Desc.cfm?p=WESS%20312. The other pre-week education courses will be on the AFIT website soon will be available using this link www.afit.edu/cess/Course_List.cfm which will display the classes under "Seminars". Attending classes, general sessions, Senior Leadership Panel and AF Service Day: Blues (any combination, sweater optional)
Attending the AF Awards Reception (by invitation only): Service Dress
All briefers to wear Service Dress while briefing
PHMA evening events are casual civilian dress β see the PHMA agenda for information

Active Duty Dress Code: Tuesday and Wednesday, ACU should be worn. If you are attending any other days (Monday, Thursday, and Friday), business casual is appropriate.

Coast Guard Reception (Invitation Only):
Please come and join us at the Coast Guard Reception to be held Wednesday evening (1800-2000). The room location will be identified in the Evening Flash which will be available at multiple locations throughout the hotel. The Master Chief of the Coast Guard, Charles "Skip" Bowen will be joining us for what will be his last PDS attendance before his retirement.

Funding:
NEW! This year for Marine Corps attendees the registration cost option for APF funded travel is "Marine Corps Central Funding". If you are traveling on NAF, your local transient billeting fund is responsible for payment. This "Central Funding" is ONLY for the registration cost of PDS week (1-5 Feb 2010). Each installation is responsible for all travel related costs.
