SECTION 1. PHMA is a membership association open to all personnel and organizations who work in or desire to support the provision of housing and services to military members and/or their families.
SECTION 2. PHMA's Vision, Mission and objectives are annually reviewed by a President, Executive Vice President, and eight elected members of the Board of Directors, whose essential function is to oversee, at the annual Board and General Membership meeting, in broad terms, the successful execution of PHMAs Vision, Mission and objectives by the Central Office. They serve without compensation.
SECTION 3. The President, Executive Vice President, Executive Director, Secretary, Treasurer and Director of Chapters and Regional Operations constitute the Executive Council, which serves as the governing authority throughout the year. The two essential function of the Executive Council are to provide such leadership and guidance to the Executive Director as deemed appropriate and to support the operation of the PHMA Central Office, under the Control of the Executive Director. They specifically approve operating procedures policies if required, and annual operating budgets for the Association. Except for the Executive Director, they serve without compensation, but are
provided expenses for attending official functions.
SECTION 4. The Executive Director, Deputy Executive Director and the Central Office staff , all paid staff, are the execution authority which carries out all of the PHMA programs, events, and logistical functions required to accomplish the PHMA Vision, Mission and objectives. Supporting the Central Office are Executive Director appointed.
